We are a community of homeschooling and alternative education students and families. We offer conversation, sharing, and support: learning.

Clonlara School supports students who want to design their own educations, follow their interests, build on their strengths, and honor their natural curiosities.

Reprint of Current Learning Edge Article

Authentic learning, inspired learning, just-in-time learning, meaningful learning, relevant learning, learning by doing, living is learning.  These are attempts to describe the type of education Clonlara School advocates and promotes.  I have no question that such learning occurs quite successfully with Clonlara’s students.  I see it every day with the campus students, and hear about it regularly from the Home Based students.Pat Montgomery (Clonlara's founder and my mom) said it a thousand…See More
